'Batik' Iris - Iris Germanica 'Batik'
A striking Bearded Iris that is beautifully adorned with purple streaked and mottled white flowers. Like snowflakes, no two flowers are ever the same.
Easily grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soils in part shade to full shade. Tolerant of a wide range of soil conditions. Performs best in rich, moist, organic soils. Plants need consistent moisture during the growing season. Water is best applied directly to the soil beneath the leaves. Divide plants as needed in spring or autumn. Division is usually easiest in early spring before the leaves unfurl.‘Francee’ is generally considered to be one of the best of the white-margined hostas. It is a sport of H. 'Fortunei Albomarginata'. It typically matures in a dense, arching mound to 21" tall and to 36" wide. Heart-shaped, dark green leaves (to 8" long) have narrow white margins. Foliage holds good color throughout the growing season. Funnel-shaped, pale lavender flowers in dense racemes appear in late summer atop leafy green scapes rising above the foliage mound to 30” tall.

One of the biggest, most colourful iris's we've seen, this flamboyant beauty is sure to rule over your garden. The gargantuan 5" x 7½" blooms are held on sturdy 37-39" stems. They have arched golden standards and solid rich mahogany falls. 8-9 buds are displayed on extra-sturdy three-branched stems. Blooms in mid to late spring.

'Lacy Snowflake' has the most enormous blooms in white with ruffled edges
the 'Lacy Snowflake' blooms in early to late spring, and goes dormant each winter. Has distinctive white flowers with ruffled edges on top of tall green stems. Grows in full sun to part shade. Best divide in late summer.Grows in well drained soil. Great for cut flowers, mixed borders, and rock gardens.
